A florist by accident, by family, by love.
I started working in events in 2020 (I know, the perfect year to become an event planner). I graduated in the fall of 2019, right before the pandemic, so my plans went sideways. I started assisting wedding planners in the Pittsburgh area and loved it — I’ve worked as an Event Coordinator for weddings and parties ever since, which ultimately led me to Pink Corner Florals.
I never expected to find love and passion in florals. When my cousin, Kate — professionally known in the floral community as the Flowerwitch — passed away in 2023, some of my inspiration shifted. Everything she created was pure delight and whimsy: arrangements that made you stop and think about life and the beauty of it. She was the one who inspired me to create Pink Corner Florals.
Flowers truly do convey emotions and tell a story. Kate’s was one full of life and exuberance — and always a fun pop of pink. So let me share a piece of your story. We’ll use flowers to tell it.
